Sojourner Family Peace Center’s Be the Light gala celebrates survivors of domestic violence while raising crucial funds for their transformative work. This year is particularly meaningful as we celebrate Sojourner’s 50th Anniversary as a pillar of peace in Milwaukee. Be the Light 2025, held on September 12th, will feature a social reception, dinner, live auction, and mission moments showcasing Sojourner’s impact. Donald Driver will serve as Honorary Co-Chair, and the evening will conclude with an Afterglow Celebration, including dessert and dancing with DJ Shawna. Be the Light is both a celebration and a vital fundraiser that supports the 10,000 survivors Sojourner serves annually.
